Jimmy, no offense taken. When I went to Bend, Or. and rode with my family and their friends, I could not tell the difference between all four bikes. They were loud and just drownded my bike out. Hopefully your shop will not fall down from the vibration tomorrow. LOL
Ah,the Redwood Run. After 27 years in Willits, I can say that I feel your pain Jimmie. Many nights were spent laying in bed hearing them ride thru town at 2 in the morning.
We have some nut that drives by the shop on Thursday and Friday EVERY week with his overly loud, look at me pipes. Every freaking week he has to rev his bike as he goes thru the intersection with the Hwy 12 over pass. Attention hogs...........they should make a new group....the Attention hog chapter. I'm sure it will be full in 10 minutes.
So, I was up in Willits today to help with my Grandma. My HD riding Uncle looks at my Triumph Sprint and says, "Nice bike, but it's not what I would have bought" No shit? My own Uncle! Not, hey cool color....how many miles have you got on that? How old is that? How was the ride up? Nope. Just not what he would have bought. *sigh* What the fuck ever.............at least I was on my bike today. Fucker.
Family.
Most of the time if you re-read my post with a sideways grin, it makes more sense! If it doesn't make sense, then
Had a friend that used to work at the old Chevron.....bikers would come in and say they wanted to pay. Friend would ask, okay which pump................OH it's the black Harley over there!
Freaking brilliant!
