Default Thinking about making a major change

I have always wanted to try out a RVT1000 RC51 honda. I love my suzuki but I tend to ride in the low end more than reving the crap out of a bike. I figure I could get a 03-up RC51 and maybe a lil cash for my 07 gixxer 1000. Should I go with the big v twin or just be happy with the bike I have? My gixxer hasn't ever given me any problems so I might just be looking at the greener grass on the other side of the fence.

Most of the time if you re-read my post with a sideways grin, it makes more sense! If it doesn't make sense, then

There is a huge difference between each bike or actually motor style V-Twins are IMO one of the most awesome feels one can experiance on a motorcycle outside of a 500cc thumper dirt tracker. Inline 4 has nothing on a V-Twin but raw HP, the Twin has Raw Torque and that torque is addicting and awe inspiring.

Weight can be cut off, HP can be raised, but the RVT never really live up to its hype IMO. I say get it and just have more fun with a far different motorcycle.

Well put John, you are right on the money Twins are a whole different ball game. I, like John prefer torque over HP any day. You've seen what a 650 twin can do I really like that RC-51 too. Get it
