    Default K-Tech

This reply is as a rider not a vendor, so I am very impartital here.

    1. Any 25mm kit for the most part is a dramatic improvement over the stock 20mm piston kit. There's no-one that would argue that point.

    2. All 25mm kits may need to be revalved to meet your needs.

    3. K-Tech is the most respected European suspension company in the racing environment, who are just making in roads into the USA.

    4. There product is race derived, not street focused with upgrades.

I have not ridden on any K-Tech products therefore have no personal seat of the pants nor tuning experience to share to influence your decision either way.

    Hope this helps!

I have been thinking about suspension upgrades as well, charles. But the more I ponder it the more i think that i'm still fighting an uphill battle. I simply don't have the chassis geometry to justify these changes! Hell, even Jimmies SV has a better set of figures for the track. I have to remind myself i'm on a touring bike with a nice motor, thats it. I have been thinking A LOT about yanking the clip-ons OFF the S4R and putting a big fat bar back on it. This last october was an eye opener, i was super uncomfortable with the amount of imput i had to feed into the bars to get it to transition through the "esses" on the backside of T-hill. On the gas hard and a lot of bar imput (because body english was doing nothing to effect the direction of the motorcycle) is a recipe for disaster.

I really don't think i'd realize any of the benefits of this at this time......now, if I had a 1098..... :-P

    party on...

Go for it, charles.....put that piece of kit in the Rwheezie..
