didn't think about it until you mentioned it.
Hey Tim, I got to thinking about what you said about the slides being polished. This worries me, you aren't suppose to remove any material off the slides, and polishing can do that. It doesn't take much to render the slides useless. Just a thought . . .

    Terry,
I don't have mercury or water gauges, I have the spring/dial type (you know, the cheap kind made in Malaykoreachinawan). However, I'd guess that it's somewhere in the 25-30% out of balance range.

    Jimmie,
The guy who rebuilt my carbs (before my fuel tank liner disintegrated) literally wrote (and published) "the book" on rebuilding CX carburetors. There is no manual anywhere that is more definitive, (and I own all of them). The "polish" that he does when necessary is simply a few twists with polishing compound, then a light buff. If the slides need more than that, he replaces them.

I say it has to do with the Longitude and Latitude of the perpendicular reciprocating goes inny goes outy thingy

Jimmie you seen that before right, they are connected to the Powerband

The firomactal drive unit controls the central ramistat core and also keeps the ontarian manifold within forty thousand KRG.
