Looking for R6 parts
A friend of mine just got a good deal on a wrecked 2003 R6. If anybody has extra body parts laying around that they would like to sell let me know. He really needs the headlights and headlight fairing. Any plastic would help cuz his are thrashed. also if he could find a subframe then he wont have to weld his. Thanks

i have a triple stem and triple clamps (top and bottom) for a r6S, maybe clip ons as well, i did a r6s front end swap on my first bike the fz6.
its yours if your buddy needs them, i just gotta go dig them outta my parents garage.
come to think of it, i MAY have the calipers and m/c off that same r6s front forks.
What's the difference between a r6 and a r6s???

i believe the 03-05 R6 is the 2nd generation of the R6.
In 2006 yamaha updated the R6 to a 3rd generation, but continued to make the older chassis R6 (03-05) and relabeled it as the R6S
I believe R6S production went until 08 maybe even longer.
what im trying to say is the parts should work on a 03 generation r6, as long as he doesnt have a 05 chassis with inverted forks
Turns out somebody put R1 forks on it so I guess he will have to look for a lower triple clamp off of one of those. For some reason the previous owner ground off the steering stops on his
