finished like all glued, fiberglassed, bondoed, sanded, painted, with cut down exaust cans (Sorry Jimmie) and the new undertail that I ordered at the begining of july. Officially on the road again. Plastic turned out good enough that it actually still gets compliments when its parked in a public place. Its just a little louder than it was.

Sorry? Don't be Forrest, an L (90*) twin with pipes sound sweet. Way better than any inline 4 Charles' S4R is one of the best sounding motorcycles I have ever heard, and it is loud. Why have I been seeing so many RC51's this summer. I see at least one a week drive by. Well I'm glad that it's back up and running . . .

I think they are finally getting cheap enough that the actual riders in the motorcycle world can justify having one. With the RVT being a somwhat rare and limited production bike it had alot of appeal to the snobby upperclass members of the biking comunity. Up till now the yuppy mainstreet cruiser crowd has been hoarding them. Luckily these people have the need to always have a newer bike in pristene condition and the RVT's are getting sold off for new bikes and since they only cruise from one starbucks to another the miles are usually nice and low on them. Consider it like a break in for the bike before some hooligan gets it and beats the hell out of it the way it was ment to be ridin.
