Thread: I think it's funny

40 years ago right about now I take ownership of a new just out 1972 Kawasaki H2 750 triple I had a good 3 year run with my 69 H1 so I get the big brother to it. This thang was nuts It had tons of low end grunt. It had a claimed HP rating of 74, My SV is claimed at 72. It had 57 ft lbs of torque the SV has 47. It turned low 12's in the quarter, as does the SV. The H2 was 55 lbs heavier than my SV. I saw a low mpg of 18 often on my H2 the worst on the SV was 38 mpg. I guess the funny part to me is, the H2 was an insanely fast motorcycle, but my SV of similar specs is considered a beginners bike sux gett'n old
