Skaggs is no longer a choice in our sunday rides.......... The press democrat just released a big article.... patrols are going to be thick thick this coming weekend. But they are also done allowing bikes to ride there... the county plans to put spped bumps and ruble strips in the road. No parking signs on the bridge. and beefed up patrols...

Time to find a new playground

I'm gonna say it...............I told you so 3 months ago. I cant get why people are not just getting this. I guess denial is a river in egypt.

I can't say I'm suprised. I could never figure out why people had to blast Skaggs at 10k+ making the hills echo for miles around when they could shift keeping the sound down and go just as fast. I know you guys with sport bikes like to do laps out to the bridge and back (I did my share). But for me and my SM the bridge to the coast is the fun part. More like dirt riding on the pavement.

Yup, I never quite understood either. The best part is from the bridge to the coast.
It really shows who is really a good all around rider. I love the doubles lol The road east of the bridge is to easy to go fast on, trouble is the unskilled find out way to often that they have over ridden their skill set. They go out there and go WFO without even knowing what to do at WFO, and it bites them in the ass. Ya know, just a short distance away is a very good racetrack that they could learn to go WFO on. But they don't go to it.
