here is the draft version- I thought I would post it up and I will update it soon.
Forum rules expectations and moderator overview.
Overview
First and foremost have fun!
Norcalsportriders.com is here to bring a social area to people that like to ride. Within this framework we must have some basic rules and understanding so we can get along and have reasonable expectations on how we are to treat and be treated within NCSR.
The principals of this site is pretty straight forward. It is an adult site for promoting riding all kinds motorcycle activity. And as such you may find a bit of salty language time to time and maybe adult content.
posting rules
rules for posting are pretty straight forward. post threads in the proper area ( example: dont post your wonderful picture of a field of flowers in the trackday area) and if entering a topic please stay on topic. if you stray be prepared to be split off into another topic. Repeat offenders maybe warned- and in public
Items that can warrant suspension- banning-or in sever cases you must come on an original hooligan ride to keep active membership
no abusive language or threats can be directed at other members
continual derailing of topics
trolling
using site features as not intended
expectations of moderators
Moderators within NCSR are here to help keep thread on topic and try to keep the peace in a proactive manner before things become ugly. they are here to alert the administrators (original hooligans) of problems as they arise. Moderators are here to help members to sort any problems that arise. They have been granted tools to use when appropriate.
