When I was in Phx this week, one of the guys has a HD and I was asking him what the struts are in the engine mounts. He explained these actually stop the washer machine effect when the bike is at top speed or cruzing at speed. Says when the HD hits a bump it can get an isolating effect due to the way the engine mass is rotating, wheel spin and the way the engine is mounted with the rubber mounts.
It was actually a pretty cool set up and cleanly installed.
We will make a Harley guy out of you yet!!! lol.
